Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Resonance House LLC ("Resonance House," "we," "us," "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you when you use our app, our website at www.resonance-house.com, our email and newsletters, our intuitive and reflective services, and any related features or communications (collectively, the "Service").
By using the Service or providing information to us, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.
Our approach, in plain terms. We collect as little as we need to run the Service, and we do not sell or rent your personal information. What you write privately in the Signal Room is not stored by us, is not read by any human, and is never used to train AI. The sections below explain everything in detail.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us directly.
- Account and membership information: your name, email address, and login credentials when you create an account. Billing is handled by our payment provider (see below); we receive confirmation of your membership status and limited billing details, but we do not collect or store your full payment card number.
- Intuitive service information: if you book or receive an intuitive reading, photo read, or oracle report, you may provide your name, contact details, a photograph, and the details or questions you choose to share for that reading.
- Saved mementos: if you choose to keep a memento (a short soul story) from the Signal Room, that saved memento is stored with your account so it is available to you across your devices.
- Communications: if you email us, subscribe to our newsletter, submit a form, give feedback, or provide a testimonial, we collect the information you include.
Information about the Signal Room that we do not store. What you write during a Signal Room session is held only on your device for the duration of that session and is used, in the moment, to generate your reflection. It is not saved to your account, is not stored by Resonance House, is not read by any human (including our founder), and is never used to train any AI model. To generate a reflection, your words are transmitted securely to our AI provider solely to compose the response and are not retained by us for that purpose. When you leave or clear the room, your session inputs are gone.
Information collected automatically. Like most online services, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical information when you use the Service, such as IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring pages, general location (derived from IP), and usage data about how the Service is used. We also keep simple, anonymous, aggregated counts of how features like the Signal Room are used (for example, how many sessions are completed), which are never tied to you or to anything you wrote.
Cookies and similar technologies. We use a limited number of cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate the Service (for example, to keep you logged in and to remember your session) and to understand general usage so we can improve the Service. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may limit parts of the Service. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not serve interest-based ads.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- create and manage your account and membership;
- provide the Service, including the audio journeys, the Signal Room, the garden, your saved mementos, and intuitive readings you request;
- process payments and manage billing, renewals, and cancellations through our payment provider;
- respond to your questions, provide customer support, and communicate with you about your account or a service you requested;
- send you newsletters, updates, and offers if you have opted in (you can opt out at any time);
- maintain the security and integrity of the Service, prevent fraud and abuse, and troubleshoot problems;
- understand general, aggregated usage so we can improve the Service; and
- comply with our legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
We do not use your private Signal Room session content for any purpose other than generating your in-the-moment reflection, and we never use it for marketing or AI training.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.
We share information only in these limited situations:
- Service providers who help us run the Service. We use trusted third parties who process information on our behalf under their own terms and security standards, including: our membership and payment providers (currently Memberstack and Stripe) for accounts, subscriptions, and payment processing; our audio delivery provider (currently Bunny.net); our hosting provider (currently Netlify); and our AI provider (currently Anthropic) to generate Signal Room reflections. These providers may only use the information as needed to perform their services for us.
- Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a lawful government request.
- Business transfer. If Resonance House is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.
- With your direction or consent. We share information when you ask us to or otherwise consent.
We may share aggregated or de-identified information (which cannot reasonably be used to identify you) for any lawful purpose.
4. Payment Processing
Payments for memberships and services are processed by our third-party payment providers (currently Memberstack and Stripe). When you make a payment, your card details are collected and processed directly by the payment processor under its own privacy policy and security standards (including PCI-DSS). We do not receive or store your full payment card number.
5. Your Choices and Rights
Email and marketing. By subscribing or providing your email, you may receive our newsletter and updates. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or by emailing us at hello@resonance-house.com. We may still send you non-marketing messages about your account or a service you requested.
Accessing and updating your information. You can review and update your account information in the app, and you can delete a saved memento at any time from your Memento Book; deletion of a memento is permanent.
Your privacy rights. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to request that we correct or delete it, to opt out of certain processing, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To make a request, email us at hello@resonance-house.com. We will verify your request and respond as required by applicable law. Because your Signal Room session inputs are never stored by us, there is generally nothing for us to retrieve or delete from those sessions.
California residents. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we do not process it for cross-context behavioral advertising. California residents may exercise the access, deletion, and correction rights described above by contacting us at hello@resonance-house.com. California’s “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code § 1798.83) permits California residents to request information about disclosures to third parties for direct marketing purposes; because we do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing, we have nothing to disclose, but you may contact us with any such request.
Do Not Track. Some browsers send “Do Not Track” signals. Because there is no common industry standard for responding to them, we do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. We do not track you across other companies’ websites for advertising in any event.
6. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it. Signal Room session inputs are not retained by us at all; only mementos you choose to save are kept, until you delete them or close your account.
7. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, and our service providers maintain their own security standards. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
8. Children’s Privacy
The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it and close the account. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at hello@resonance-house.com.
9. Third-Party Links and Services
The Service may contain links to third-party websites, tools, or social media (for example, Instagram, YouTube, or Spotify). We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. When you follow a link or use a third-party feature, that third party’s privacy policy governs. We encourage you to review it.
10. International Users
Resonance House is based in the United States, and our servers and service providers are located in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, processed, and stored in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer and processing.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version here with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after we post changes means you accept them. Please review this Privacy Policy periodically.
