Please read these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using Resonance House. By creating an account, purchasing a membership, using the app or website, booking or receiving any service, or submitting any content, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms are a legally binding agreement between you ("you," "your") and Resonance House LLC ("Resonance House," "we," "us," "our"), and together with our Privacy Policy govern your use of the Resonance House app, the website at www.resonance-house.com, all content, audio journeys, the Signal Room, the garden, membership features, intuitive and reflective services, communications, and related offerings (collectively, the "Service").

A note before the legal language. Resonance House is a space for reflection and self-inquiry. It is not therapy, medical or mental-health care, or a crisis service. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself or someone else, please stop and reach out to a real person now: in the US and Canada, call or text 988; anywhere, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line. The Signal Room, the audio journeys, and any intuitive readings or reflections are reflective tools, not a substitute for professional help. Section 6 explains this in full.

1. For Educational and Self-Help Purposes; Who May Use the Service

Everything provided through the Service is for general educational, informational, and self-help purposes and for your own personal reflection and enjoyment.

Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. If we learn that we have collected an account from someone under 18, we will close it.

Your account. To access most features you must create an account and maintain an active membership. You agree to provide accurate information, keep it current, and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at hello@resonance-house.com if you suspect unauthorized use. We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorized use of your account.

One person, one account. Your membership is personal to you, non-transferable, and for your individual, non-commercial use only. You may not share your login or let others use your membership.

2. Membership, Billing, Auto-Renewal & Cancellation

Paid membership. Access to the Service requires a paid membership. Current pricing is presented at checkout (for example, a monthly plan and an annual plan). We may change pricing prospectively; any change will not affect the term you have already paid for.

Payment processing. Payments are processed by our third-party membership and payment providers (currently Memberstack and Stripe). We do not collect or store your full payment card details; those are handled by the payment processor under its own terms and security standards. By subscribing, you authorize us and our processors to charge your payment method for the applicable fees.

Auto-renewal — please read. Your membership automatically renews at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually, as selected) at the then-current price, and your payment method will be charged automatically, until you cancel. You will continue to be charged on a recurring basis unless and until you cancel.

How to cancel. You may cancel at any time from within the app under Profile → Manage membership & billing, or by emailing hello@resonance-house.com. Cancellation stops future renewals. When you cancel, you keep access through the end of the period you have already paid for, and you will not be charged again after that.

Intuitive and one-time services. Sessions such as intuitive readings, photo reads, oracle reports, and similar offerings may be purchased separately from membership. Fees and any scheduling terms are presented at the time of purchase and are due in full as stated.

Late payments (payment plans). If you are on a monthly or installment plan and a payment is more than five (5) days overdue, we may charge a late fee of ten percent (10%) of the overdue amount and suspend your access until the balance is paid.

Refunds. Except where required by law, membership fees and completed purchases, including intuitive and one-time services once they have begun or been delivered, are non-refundable, including for partially used billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at hello@resonance-house.com and we will review it in good faith.

Free trials or promotions. If we offer a free trial or promotional rate, the terms of that offer will be disclosed at sign-up. Unless you cancel before the trial or promotional period ends, your membership will convert to a paid, auto-renewing membership at the standard price.

3. What You Get — License to Use the Service

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and an active membership, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-commercial, revocable, non-sublicensable, and non-transferable license to access and use the Service — including the audio journeys, the Signal Room, the garden, and your saved mementos — for your own personal reflection and enjoyment.

You may not, and may not permit anyone else to:

• copy, download (except as the Service expressly allows), record, rip, redistribute, publicly perform, broadcast, or share the audio journeys or other Resonance House Content;
• resell, sublicense, rent, or commercially exploit any part of the Service;
• reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to extract source code, models, prompts, or underlying technology;
• circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security, access, or usage-limiting feature (including content-delivery protections on the audio);
• use the Service in any way that could damage, overburden, or impair it, or interfere with anyone else’s use; or
• access the Service through automated means or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, server, or system.

Our audio journeys are streamed and protected. Any offline access the app provides is solely for your personal listening within the app and does not grant you ownership of any file.

4. Our Content and Intellectual Property

All materials that are part of the Service — including the audio journeys and scripts, the Signal Room experience and its prompts, the written reflections and soul stories it generates, the garden and its artwork, intuitive readings and reports, text, images, illustrations, design, “look and feel,” software, the “PARA Technique,” the Resonance House name and logo, and all trademarks — are owned by or licensed to Resonance House LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership to you. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

5. The Signal Room and Your Session Content

The Signal Room lets you write privately and receive an AI-generated reflection, and optionally save a short “memento” (a soul story) to your account.

What stays private and temporary. What you write during a Signal Room session is not saved to your account and is not stored by Resonance House. It is held only on your device for the duration of your session and is used, in the moment, to generate your reflection. When you leave or clear the room, it is gone. Your session inputs are not read by any human (including our founder), and are not used to train any AI model. To generate a reflection, your words are transmitted securely to our AI provider (currently Anthropic) solely to compose the response, and are not retained by us for that purpose.

What is saved. Only the mementos you choose to keep are stored with your account so they are available to you across your devices. You may delete a memento at any time from your Memento Book; deletion is permanent.

Your responsibility for what you write. You are responsible for the content you enter. Please do not enter information you are not comfortable transmitting to an AI provider for processing, and do not enter other people’s private or sensitive personal information.

6. Nature of the Service — Not Therapy, Medical Care, or a Crisis Service

Please read this section carefully.

Resonance House is a general-wellness, self-reflection, and intuitive-guidance product offered for personal, educational, and informational purposes only. It is not medical care, mental-health care, psychotherapy, counseling, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a crisis, emergency, or suicide-prevention service.

Resonance House LLC is not a medical provider, mental-health provider, therapist, counselor, physician, dietitian, attorney, accountant, financial advisor, or member of the clergy, and does not hold itself out as any of these. The audio journeys, the Signal Room and its AI-generated reflections and stories, and any intuitive readings, photo reads, or reports are reflective and intuitive offerings for self-inquiry and personal insight. They do not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any physical, mental, or emotional condition, and they are not a substitute for professional medical, mental-health, legal, or financial advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Intuitive readings, photo reads, and reports. Intuitive services are provided for reflection, insight, and personal enjoyment only. They are based on intuitive impressions and are not statements of fact, predictions, guarantees, or professional advice of any kind. No specific outcome or accuracy is promised or guaranteed. You are solely responsible for your own choices, decisions, and actions, and you agree not to rely on any reading or reflection as a basis for medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other important decisions. Always consult a qualified professional for those matters.

AI-generated content. The Signal Room’s reflections and soul stories are produced by an automated AI system. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, or may not fit your situation, and they are not the advice or opinion of any professional. Use your own judgment; do not rely on them as guidance for important decisions.

No professional relationship. Using the Service does not create a therapist-client, doctor-patient, or other professional or fiduciary relationship between you and Resonance House.

In a crisis, get real help immediately. The Service cannot help you in an emergency and is not monitored for crises. If you are experiencing a medical or mental-health emergency, are thinking about harming yourself or others, or are in crisis, stop using the Service and contact emergency help right away: in the US and Canada, call or text 988; or call your local emergency number (such as 911 in the US); or go to the nearest emergency room. Always seek the advice of a qualified professional with any questions about a medical or mental-health condition, and never disregard or delay seeking it because of something you experienced through the Service. The Service has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration and is not a medical device.

Guided-audio note. Some journeys use relaxation, breathwork, guided imagery, or similar practices. Do not listen while driving or operating machinery, or in any situation where relaxing your attention could be unsafe. If you have a medical or psychological condition that could be affected, consult your provider before use. Effectiveness depends on the individual, and no particular result is guaranteed.

Your responsibility. You participate voluntarily and are solely responsible for your own choices, actions, and results. You assume all risks associated with your use of the Service.

7. User Content

If you submit content to us outside a private session — for example, feedback, testimonials, photographs for an intuitive read, or messages ("User Content") — you represent that it is truthful and that you have the right to share it, including any necessary permission from anyone named or pictured. We are not obligated to monitor User Content, and we may remove or decline to use it at any time, for any reason, without liability.

License to us. For any User Content you voluntarily submit to us (this does not include your private, ephemeral Signal Room session inputs, which are covered by Section 5), you grant Resonance House LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, sublicensable, transferable, royalty-free, perpetual license to host, use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display that content in connection with operating and promoting the Service. A photograph or other material you submit for the purpose of receiving an intuitive reading will be used to provide that reading and will not be published without your permission.

Prohibited conduct. You agree not to use the Service to post or transmit anything that: is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, threatening, hateful, obscene, or invasive of another’s privacy; infringes anyone’s intellectual property; contains malware or interferes with the Service; impersonates anyone; or constitutes spam or unauthorized advertising. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

8. Testimonials, Results & No Guarantees

Any testimonials or examples reflect individual experiences and are shared for illustration only. They are not promises that you will experience the same results. Your experience depends on many personal factors, and we do not and cannot guarantee any specific result or outcome from using the Service, including from any intuitive reading or reflection.

9. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service relies on third-party providers (including, currently, Memberstack for accounts and billing, Stripe for payments, Bunny.net for audio delivery, Netlify for hosting, and Anthropic for AI reflections). Your use of the Service may be subject to those providers’ terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

The Service may contain links to third-party sites or resources we do not control. We do not endorse and are not responsible for them, and you access them at your own risk. A reference or link to another person, business, or resource is not an endorsement, and if our link appears on another party’s site, that is not our endorsement of them. If we ever include affiliate links or promote an aligned partner, we may receive compensation, but that does not change your price, is not an endorsement, and you remain responsible for your own judgment before acting on it.

10. Availability, Changes & Termination

We do not guarantee the Service will always be available or uninterrupted. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, temporarily or permanently, with or without notice, and we will not be liable to you for doing so.

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. If we terminate your account without cause and you have prepaid, we will refund the unused, prepaid portion of your membership. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 4, 6, 7, and 11 through 15) will survive.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is,” “as available,” and “with all faults.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Resonance House LLC and its owners, officers, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be secure, error-free, uninterrupted, or that any AI-generated content or intuitive reading will be accurate or suitable for you.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Resonance House LLC and its owners, officers, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, even if advised of the possibility.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

13. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Resonance House LLC and its owners, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right. We may assume the exclusive defense of any such matter, and you agree to cooperate. This Section survives termination.

14. Copyright Complaints (DMCA)

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice with the information required under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) to our Designated Agent:

Your notice should include: your physical or electronic signature; identification of the copyrighted work; identification of the allegedly infringing material and where it is located; your contact information; a statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorized; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act. We will respond to valid notices and counter-notices consistent with the DMCA, and any restoration of removed material will be at Resonance House LLC’s discretion consistent with the statute.

15. Governing Law; Arbitration; Class-Action Waiver

Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

Arbitration. Any dispute relating to your use of the Service or these Terms will be resolved by confidential, binding arbitration in South Carolina under the then-current rules of JAMS, except that we may seek injunctive relief in the state or federal courts of South Carolina to protect our intellectual property, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts for that purpose. The arbitrator’s award may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Class-action waiver. To the fullest extent permitted by law, disputes will be handled individually; you and we waive any right to bring or participate in a class, collective, or representative action.

Time limit. Any claim must be filed within one (1) year after it arises, or it is permanently barred.

16. General

These Terms, with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede prior agreements. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. We may assign these Terms; you may not. Nothing here creates a partnership, agency, or employment relationship. We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

Changes. We may update these Terms. We will post the revised version with a new effective date, and your continued use after posting means you accept the changes. Please review these Terms periodically.

Jurisdiction. The Service is directed to users in the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, you do so at your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local law.
